Thomas Scores First Goal – Storm Roll

After giving up an early goal the host Kamloops Storm scored the next 6 goals en route to a 6-1 win over the Kelowna Chiefs Saturday Night as the Storm recognized Mental Health Awareness as a game night theme. Peyton Kelly had two goals and two assists to lead the way while Harrison Ewert, Cole Senum, Sam Lewis and Dawson Thomas with his first KIJHL goal all potted markers for the home squad. Kamloops outshot Kelowna 39-14 on the night and went 2 for 8 on the power play while killing off all 5 chances on the pk. Cody Creasy got the win in goal.
