Storm Edged 2-1 In Revelstoke

The Kamloops Storm were gassed as game two in Revelstoke progressed. They gave it all they had but Revelstoke got two second period goals to erase a 1-0 Storm lead after one period and then hung on for the win and a 2-0 series lead in the Birks Division final. Kyle Sanford opened the scoring on the power play but then Kaleb West replied for the Grizzlies before Bennett Kuhnlein scored the eventual game winner on the power play. Brandon Weare stopped 26 of 27 shots for the win in net but Colton Phillips-Watts was outstanding in stopping 41 of 43 shots despite taking the loss in the Storm net. Kamloops was 1 for 5 on the pp while the Grizzlies were 1 for 4. Game three will be Monday in Kamloops at 7pm.
