The Chase Heat scored three times in the third period breaking a 2-2 tie to post a 5-2 win in KIJHL exhibition action Saturday in Chase. Jake Phillips-Watts and Austin Barrett scored the lone Storm goals while Brendan Huth got the hat-trick for the Heat. Dawson Holitzki stopped 22 of 27 shots he faced in the Storm net while Kamloops had 28 shots of their own. Both teams had a power play goal while the Heat added a short-handed goal in winning the special teams battle.
