Nolan MacPherson scored twice while 11 other Storm players had points as the home town boys beat the Chase Heat 6-1 in exhibition play Thursday night. Evan Douglas, Hudson Clarke, Dawson Thomas, and Devin Benson tallied for Kamloops while Jake Phillips-Watts stopped 19 shots in going the distance in goal to get the win. Shots were 56-20 Kamloops. Chase was 0 for 2 on the power play while the Storm went 1 for 5. The two teams play Saturday in Chase 7pm.
