Nitehawks dump Storm 5-3

The Beaver Valley Nitehawks Scored early and kept the peddle down jumping out to a 4-0 lead in the second period and hung on for a 5-3 win in Kamloops Friday night. Weston Field replied for the Storm to close the gap to 4-1 but Beaver Valley scored late in the second to restore their 4 goal lead after two periods. Goals by Owen Aura and Ryan Larsen in the third made things interesting but that’s as close as the Storm would get. Beaver Valley was 2 for 5 on the power play while Kamloops was 0 for 5. Shots were 31-22 Storm as Cody Creasy took the loss in goal. The Storm will now play in North Okanagan Saturday night.
