The Kamloops Storm shut down the Quesnel River Rush and their high powered offence to the tune of a 4-1 win in Game One of the Doug Birks division semi-finals. Strong defensive play and a 29 save performance by Brenner Fyfe led the way for Kamloops. The Storm, who had 31 shots of their own, were led offensively by Luca D’Amore who had 2 goals and an assist as well as Luke Rothfos who chipped in with two assists. Noah Paulsen and David Ander also scored for Kamloops who went 1 for 6 on their power play and killed all 3 man disadvantages they faced. Game Two goes Saturday March 1st 7pm.
