Storm Blow Two Goal Lead In Loss

Greatly influenced by the pre-game honouring of the National U Sport Champion TRU Mens Soccer team the Kamloops Storm jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first period of their game Friday night against the North Okanagan Knights. The lead held for two periods actually before the roof would cave in. Two power play goals by the Knights would tie the game in the third period sending the teams into overtime and ultimately a shootout. The Knights would score twice while the Storm would only score once to end a disappointing night. North Oks outshot Kamloops 32-27 on the night including 17-9 in the third period alone. Cody Creasy would take the loss in net.
