Storm Drop OT Loss In Chase

The Kamloops Storm were flat for most of a 2-1 shootout loss to the Chase Heat in KIJHL action Saturday night. Cody Creasy stopped 30 of 31 shots in getting the Storm’s player of the game honours despite taking OT loss in goal. Sam Lewis potted the lone Kamloops marker in the first period. Tanner Chapman tied the game for the Heat early in the third period setting up overtime and ultimately the shootout where the Storm failed to score. Final shots were 31-30 Heat. Kamloops will now return home Sunday for their final game before the Christmas break against the Sicamous Eagles ending a 3 games in 3 nights weekend.
