Storm Dumped In Fernie

The Kamloops Storm went 3 for 5 on the power play but thats about that went right for them tonight as they dropped a 7-4 decision to the hometown Fernie Ghostriders in KIJHL action. The Storm ttailed 3-2 after one period and 6-4 after two. Kyle Sanford and Brody Johnston had a goal and an assist each while Ryan Larsen added two assists. Evan Clark returned to the Storm lineup tonight and scored his first goal of the year. Jake Phillips-Watts scored his first ever KIJHL goal on the power play in the second period. Cody Creasy took the loss in goal stopping 24 shots as the Storm were outshot 31-26. The road trip continues Saturday in Kimberley against the Dynamiters.
