Jacob Hufty stormed down the wing and put a shot passed Revy goaltender Jozef Kuchaslo for the winning goal midway thru the third period as the Kamloops Storm edged the hometown Grizzlies 3-2 in KIJHL action Friday night. Kamloops led 2-0 after one period on goals by Ty Horner and Ryan Larsen. Revy tied the game with goals just 18 seconds apart in the second period to set up a thrilling third period and Hufty’s game winner. Shots were 35-26 Storm as Colton Phillips-Watts got the win in net. Kamloops was 1 for 5 on the power play and a perfect 2 for 2 on the penalty kill. The teams will complete their home and home set Saturday night in Kamloops game tome 8pm. Saturday’s game will feature the ever popular Weiner Dog races.
