Storm Edged By Heat 4-3

The Kamloops Storm had a second period collapse and it cost them in a 4-3 loss at home to the Chase Heat. Kamloops led 2-1 after one period on goals by Nik Dimopoulos and David Ander. But Chase outshot the Storm 25-10 in the second period and scored three times to take a 4-2 lead into the third period. Noah Paulsen scored shorthanded in the third period to pull the hosts to within one goal. That would be it for scoring however and the Heat would come out with the win. Brenner Fyfe took the loss despite stopping 45 of 49 shots in net while Kamloops fired 39 of their own shots. Both teams were 1 for 4 on the power play.
