The Kamloops Storm had their hands full against the Beaver Valley Nitehawks on Saturday night and the boys from Fruitvale handed Kamloops 5-2 defeat in KIJHL action Saturday. The Storm playing their third game in three nights opened the scoring as Spencer McCallum got his second of the season. After that the Storm seem to chase the game as the Nitehawks would score 3 consecutive goals to lead 3-1 after two periods. Teghan Mullin would score his 11th goal of the season to cut the lead briefly before Beaver Valley would put the game away with two late third period goals. Shots were 50-32 Nitehawks as Brenner Fyfe was sharp despite took the loss in net. The Storm were 0 for 2 on the power play and killed 8 of 9 penalties as Kamloops seemed to be undisciplined on this night.
