Storm Have Perfect Shutout Weekend

The Kamloops Storm shut out the Grand Forks Border Bruins for the second consecutive day making it a perfect weekend for Storm goaltenders Cody Creasy and Evan Leggett. Kamloops won 2-0 this afternoon as Creasy made 15 stops in the first half of the game while Leggett stopped all 10 shots he faced. Weston Field scored on a penalty shot in the second period and Ryan Larsen scored in the third on a beautiful solo rush. The Storm fired 44 shots on goal themselves. Creasy got the shutout in game one yesterday vs the Bruins as the Storm won 5-0. Both teams were 0 for 8 on the power play today. Kamloops finishes exhibition play with a 3-0-1 record and will open the regular season next Friday night in Chase vs the Heat.
