Storm Have Undefeated Season And Move Players On

Despite cancellation of the rest of the KIJHL season the Kamloops Storm can still boast a successful 2020/2021 season ……. Sort of. A successful Junior Hockey season can be measured in wins and losses. (Storm went undefeated this year – 4 wins in exhibition play and 2 wins in their only two regular season games) Also, a successful Junior Hockey season should always be measured in player development (The Storm will move Harrison Ewert, Jakob Drapeau, Everett Sam, Brody Johnston, Lex Friesen, Brandon Toye, and Devin Benson to Jr A teams while Aidan Sutter and Braden Smith will move on the Major Junior). Although we jest the Kamloops Storm did get creative and used developmental ice times to help players improve their games to go on to higher levels. All in all, the best of a tough situation this year.
