Storm Solid In Win Over Heat

Ryan Larsen scored twice and assisted on another as the Kamloops Storm defeated the Chase Heat 3-1 on Saturday in Kamloops. Larsen’s first goal broke a 1-1 tie while his second goal was insurance early in the third period. The game was scoreless after one period. Colton Phillips-Watts stopped 31 of 32 shots while Kamloops fired 44 shots themselves. Cole Senum opened the scoring on the power play in the second period as the Storm were 1 for 3 with the man advantage killed off the only penalty they took. Kamloops will host the Nelson Leafs Sunday afternoon at 5pm.
