Goals by Trevor Kennedy, Jarod Sigouin, and Aiden Brown staked Chase out to a 3-0 lead after two periods. Power play goals by Jayden Russell and Zak Anderson closed the gap but the Kamloops Storm couldn’t get the equalizer allowing the Chase Heat to force game 6 with a 3-2 win on Monday night. The series is now 3 games to 2. Colton Phillips-Watts stopped 27 of 30 shots while Jack Osmond stopped 49 of 51 shots fired his way. Chase was 1-1 on the power play while the Storm were 2 for 4. Game 6 is 7pm in Chase Tuesday night.
