The Chase Heat survived a 58 shot barrage but had 27 shots of their own which was more than enough in a 5-1 home ice win over the Kamloops Storm in KIJHL action Tuesday night. Braeden Huth had two goals while Kieran Strauss had a goal and an assist to lead the way for the Heat. Kieran Armitage had two assists in support of game star Meyer Gaume who got the win in net stopping 57 shots. Colton Phillips-Wats took the loss stopping 20 shots. Both teams were without a power play goal in four tries. (3 by Kamloops). Brendan Green scored his second of the year for the Storm’s only goal.
