The Kamloops Storm are mired in a 4 game losing streak as they edged 2-1 tonight in Chase. Seemingly a step behind all night the Storm trailed 1-0 and 2-1 at each period break. Kamloops could not get the equalizer in the third despite a 4 minute power play to start the frame. Kamloops was 0 for 3 on the power play and 5 for 5 on the penalty kill. The Heat outshot the Storm 36-31 on the night as Colton Phillips-Watts took the loss in net. Evan Clark got the lone Storm marker of the game. The teams will meet in Kamloops 5pm Sunday night in the return match.
