Storm Sweep Exhibition Series With Heat
The Kamloops Storm completed a home and home exhibition sweep of the Chase Heat by defeating their division rivals 3-1 in Chase Saturday night. The Storm won on Friday night in Kamloops 3-2. On Saturday Kamloops got goals from Zak Anderson, Andon Rende, and Cole Senum. Senum also added an assist while Samuel Lewis chipped in with two assists. Birch Mierau got the win in goal stopping 25 of 26 shots while Nic Melynchuk faced 38 Storm shots. Matthew Poole scored the Heat’s lone goal.
