Fyfe, Penalty Kill Solid in Storm Win

Brenner Fyfe stopped 41 of 42 shots and the Kamloops Storm penalty kill went a perfect 5 for 5 which included killing a 5 minute major which in turn featured a two man disadvantage situation for 2 minutes all leading to a 2-1 Storm win in Williams Lake Sunday. Luca D’Amore on the power play and Nolan MacPherson scored for the Storm who were 1 for 1 on their power play. Kamloops sweeps the weekend games and now sit in second place in the Doug Birks Division standings two points behind the first place 100 Mile House Wranglers with a game in hand.
