Storm Make Moves – Press Release

Press Release – November 3, 2021

November 3 has been a very busy day for the Kamloops Storm organization.
The team made 3 moves today. The 3 moves made today provide better
opportunities for all the players involved and greatly strengthen the Kamloops
Storm.

We have traded goaltender Ryan Dusseault to the Princeton Posse in exchange
for a PDF. Ryan has been a great asset to the Kamloops Storm and we wish him
luck in Princeton. Princeton is not only getting a starting goalie they are getting
a great person.

We have signed defenseman Holdin Getzlaf of Kelowna. Holdin is a highly
motivated JR A prospect who will add high end depth to our defense. He has a
well rounded skill set and sees the ice well.

We have traded defenseman Liam Dumelie and a PDF to the Castlegar Rebels for local
Kamloops hockey product Alek Erichuk. It was tough to give up a quality player
like Liam as he has been a big contributor to our early success but sometimes
you have to give something up to get better. Alek has experience in both the
KIJHL and BCHL. His assets include a big physical presence, solid skill set, and a
strong hockey IQ. He will be counted on to be a leader for our club moving
forward.
