Mustangs Take Game Two 4-3

The Kamloops Storm rallied back from a 3-0 hole with 3 second period goals just over 6 minutes apart to even game two at 3-3 after two periods but it was the Mustangs who would get the game winner early in the third period to win 4-3 in KIJHL playoff action Saturday in Kamloops. Nicklas Wytrychowski, Quinn Ramsay, and Ryan Pedersen would score consecutively in the second period to to the contest but they could get no more and now trail the best of seven Birks division final 2-0 as the series shifts to Williams Lake. Wytrychowski would add an assist in a game where both teams would score a power play goal as Kamloops went 1 for 2 and Williams Lake went 1 for 4. Brenner Fyfe took the loss in net stopping 22 of 26 shots he faced on the night.
