16 year old Mattias Holte scored twice but he was the only Storm player to beat Sicamous goaltender Jaidyn Shaw as Shaw stopped 53 of 55 shots to lead the Eagles to a 3-2 shootout win in exhibition play Friday night in Sicamous. Shaw also stopped all 4 shootout shots he faced. Nolan MacPherson and Seth Holte each had two assists Kamloops went 0 for 8 on their power play while allowing 1 power play goal in 3 attempts on the penalty kill.
Kamloops will now return home to host the Merritt Centennials Saturday at 7pm in exhibition play.
