Storm Power Out In Chase

The Kamloops Storm let one slip away. They outshot the Chase Heat 56-27 but couldn’t outscore them as they dropped a 3-2 decision to their rivals from the Shuswap. Chase jumped out to a 3-0 lead after twom periods before Jacob Hufty scored a pair of goals to close the gap with just over 3 minutes left in the game. But despite a late power play the Storm could not get the equalizer. Chase was 0 for 2 on the power play while Kamloops was 1 for 6. Colton Phillips-Watts took the loss in goal.
