Storm Shake Off Rust To Win 4-3

The Kamloops Storm had a great deal of Christmas rust in the first period of their first game back from the Christmas break. They trailed the host 100 Mile House Wranglers 1-0 and were outshot 9-8 after the opening frame. But once the rust wore off and Kamloops outshot the Wranglers 31-13 and outscored the hosts 4-2 over the last two periods to get their first win in 2022. Zak Anderson had two goals and an assist while Jayden Russell had a goal and an assist. Kyle Sanford also tallied for the visitors. Cody Creasy stopped 19 of 22 shots in getting the win in net. Kamloops was 1 for 8 on the power play while 100 Mile was 2 for 4.
