Storm Shut Out Chiefs in Kelowna

The Kamloops Storm blanked the Kelowna Chiefs 3-0 in KIJHL action on Friday in Kelowna. The Storm had period leads of 1-0 and 2-0 on goals by Kasey Jackson and Peyton Kelly. Evan Clark added an empty net goal late in the game to seal the win. Jameson Rende added two assists in support of winning goaltender Colton Phillips-Watts who earned the shutout with 28 saves in a very solid performance. Kamloops will now return home to face the Sicamous Eagles Saturday 7pm at the Sandman Center in Kamloops.
