The Kamloops Storm jumped out to a 3-0 first period lead and limited the Kimberley Dynamiters the rest of the way in a 4-2 win in KIJHL action Saturday night in Kamloops. Wyatt Olson, Luca D’Amore, and Teghan Mullin scored in the first for Kamloops. Kimberley got on the board in the second and then again early in the third period to cut the lead but Kamloops remained in control and got a late power play goal by Noah Paulsen to seal the deal in what was a rough and tumble affair that produced 185 total penalty minutes. 113 of those to Kimberley. Paulsen and D’Amore added an assist each while Hayden Selin had 2 assists. Brenner Fyfe stopped 21 of 23 shots he faced in getting the win in net. The Storm had 39 shots of their own and went 3 for 5 on the power play. while killing all 3 power plays against them.
