Storm Can’t Hang On Vs Beaver Valley

The Kamloops Storm couldn’t hang on to a 2-1 lead heading into the third period as the Beaver Valley Nitehawks scored 3 unanswered goals en route to a 4-2 win in KIJHK action in Fruitvale Friday night. Ty Horner and Sam Lewis gave the Storm a 2-1 lead heading in to the third but the Storm could not hang on. Colton Phillips-Watts made 39 saves on the night in taking the loss in goal while Kamloops went 1 for 9 on the power play and the Nitehawks went 1 for 4 including the game winner. Kamloops will now move on to play the Nelson Maple Leafs in Nelson Saturday night.
