The Kamloops Storm let one get away in Williams Lake tonight as the Mustangs closed out the back and forth affair with an overtime goal by Madden Aubie in a 7-6 thriller. Teams were tied 3-3 after one period while Kamloops led 4-3 after two periods. The Mustangs took a 5-4 lead early in the third period before Luca D’Amore and Carson Werbowesky gave the Storm a late 6-5 lead. Williams Lake tied the game with just under two minutes left setting up the overtime heroics of Aubie. D’Amore had two goals while Werbowesky and Shamus Fechner had a goal and an assist each. Hayden Selin and Hudson Clarke also scored for Kamloops. Kamloops outshot Williams Lake 44-37 and went 1 for 4 on the power play. The Mustangs were 0 for 2 on their power play.
