Luca D’Amore’s two goals were not nearly enough as the Quesnel River Rush scored 3 times each in the second and third period to take game one of a back to back set 6-2. Both of D’Amore’s goals came in the second period but Quesnel would run away in the third eventually outshooting Kamloops 40-23 on the night. Kamloops was a woeful 0 for 6 on thier power play while Quesnel scored once in four tries on theirs. Game 2 of the back to back goes Saturday night in Quesnel.
