Storm Wear Down Eagles. Win 5-0

The Kamloops Storm rode the shutout goaltending of Colton Phillips-Watts as he made 28 saves for his third shutout of the season in securing the game star honours as he lead his team to a 5-0 win over the Sicamous Eagles at Sandman Center Saturday night. Phillips-Watts held the Storm in the game early and allowed his team to get the lead and eventually wear down the Eagles. Walker McEwen and Zak Anderson each had a goal and an assist while Hudson Cameron, Sam Lewis, and Evan Douglas rounded out the scoring for the Storm as they fired 45 shots at Eagles netminder and game star Jordan Lott. Kamloops was 1 for 2 on the power play and a perfect 3 for 3 on the PK. Kamloops will now have 6 days off before they travel to Sicamous next Friday and then to Revelstoke next Saturday for a pair of key divisional games.
