Sam Lewis scored with 4 seconds left in overtime to give the Kamloops Storm a thrilling 2-1 victory over the Columbia Valley Rockies in a battle of elite teams in KIJHL action Saturday. Lewis atoned for a third period penalty with the winning goal in support of Storm game star Colton Phillips-Watts who made 36 saves. Both goaltenders were game stars and made many spectacular saves as Nate Glenn made 37 saves for the Rockies. Jake Phillips-Watts scored the only power play goal of the game to tie the game in the second period as Kamloops was 1 for 6 with the man advantage and a perfect 4 for 4 on the penalty kill. It was Mental Health awareness night at the game and the 400 plus fans went home happy. Kamloops will now travel to Sicamous for A 2pm date with the Eagles on Sunday.
