Johnston Brings Down The Bears and The Heat

Brody Johnston brought down the Teddy Bears at 16:31 of the first period on Teddy Bear toss night. He followed that up with a power play goal in the second period and led his team to a 4-0 win against the Chase Heat Saturday night at Mac Island Olympic Arena. Brody also knocked down a few Heat players with his physical play creating space for his teammates to do their thing. Evan Douglas also had a pair of goals and chipped in with an assist for a 3 point night. Devin Benson had three assists and a strong game from the back end. Cody Creasy stopped all 21 shots he faced in getting the win and the shutout. The Storm fired 38 shots of their own and went 2 for 7 on the power play and a perfect 6 for 6 on the penalty kill.
