The host Kamloops Storm took a 4-2 decision in what was a close fast skating affair against the Golden Rockets in KIJHL action Sunday night. In what was a make up game from Friday night when the Rockets were stuck in Golden due to a highway closure the Storm and Rockets played fast and furious. Ryan Pedersen had two assists while Nolan MacPherson, Teghan Mullin, Luca D’Amore, and David Ander (playing in his 100 KIJHL game) did the scoring. Brenner Fyfe was great in net making 26 of 28 saves on the night. Kamloops had 37 shots of their own and went 0 for 3 on their power play while Golden went 1 for 3. Kamloops will close out the pre-Christmas portion of their schedule against the Chase Heat in Chase Tuesday night.
