Wranglers Edge Storm in Double OT

The Kamloops Storm went on an important power play in double overtime but it back fired as the 100 Mile House Wranglers scored a shorthanded goal for a 5-4 victory that ties the series at one apiece. Luke Rothfos had 2 goals and an assist for Kamloops while Luca D’Amore had a goal and an assist. Noah Paulsen also scored for Kamloops who went 2 for 5 on the power play and a perfect 2 for 2 on the penalty kill but it was the shorthanded dagger that killed the Storm on this night. Brenner Fyfe stopped 52 of 55 shots he faced on the night in taking the loss. Game three is Monday March 17th at 7pm.
