Storm Draw First Blood With 5-3 Win

Kamloops Storm rookie goalie Brenner Fyfe (2006-born) will share the crease with Sicamous Eagles rookie goalie Michael Makowsky. “I got to see Fyfe first-hand when we were in Kamloops and he had a great game against us,” said KIJHL head coach Dave Hnatiuk. “In pre-scout, you see him show up in other games. He looked really good and consistent. There were about five or six ‘06 goalies in the mix. It’s not an easy decision.” Brian Johnson Photography
