Benson Completes Comeback.

Devin Benson scored just under three minutes in to overtime as the Kamloops Storm took a 5-4 come from behind victory over the hometown Creston Thunder Cats in KIJHL action Saturday night. Kamloops trailed 4-2 heading in to the third period but goals from Peyton Kelly and Kyle Sanford tied the game setting up Benson’s second goal of the game which was the winner in OT. Evan Clark also scored for the Storm. Sanford added an assist while Evan Douglas chipped in with two assists. Colton Phillips-Watts made 29 saves in getting the win in net while the Storm fired 35 shots of their own. Kamloops was 1 for 3 on the power play and 3 for 4 on the penalty kill.
