Storm Fall Hard In Nelson 5-2

The Kamloops Storm Walked in to Nelson and ran in to a Leaf storm as the home town Leafs walked to a 5-2 win in KIJHL action Friday. Teghan Mullin potted a pair of goals and was the only Storm to beat Leafs goaltender Jacob Armstrong who made 29 saves in getting the win. Brenner Fyfe made 34 saves for the Storm who went 2 for 6 on the power play and allowed 1 power play goal in 3 attempts. Kamloops travels to Fruitvale to play Beaver Valley Saturday to complete their road trip.
